Privacy
Short version: there is no account, no form and no chat box, and nothing you do here is sent to anyone who writes answers.
Who operates this site
ModelLineup is operated by Inyonitech Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. You can reach us at hello@modellineup.com, which is also how to reach the company’s Information Officer. We do not publish a street address here; if a regulator needs one, write to the mailbox and it will be provided.
What we collect
Nothing you type, because there is nowhere to type. This site has no account, no sign-up, no form, no search box and no chat box. It does not let you ask an AI model anything: every answer you read was collected in advance and is shown as a fixed exhibit. Nothing you do here is sent to any AI provider.
What is stored on your device
None. The site writes no cookie, no local storage, no session storage and nothing in any other store on your device. See the cookies and storage page.
Hosting
The pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the ordinary information a browser sends in order to deliver a page: your IP address, the page requested and your browser’s user-agent string. It uses that to serve the site and to defend it against attack. We do not keep our own server logs.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it stores no identifier on your device and does not follow you between sites. It reports which page was viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, which site referred you, which browser you used and how quickly the page loaded. What we see is counts. We never see a person.
Advertising
There is no advertising on this site at the moment and no advertising script is loaded. ModelLineup is intended to be funded by Google AdSense. When that is switched on, this page and the cookies page will say so first, and will describe how Google asks visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland for their consent.
If you write to hello@modellineup.com, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the exchange, and for no longer than 24 months. We do not add you to any list, and there is no list to add you to.
Mail to that address is received by Cloudflare’s email routing, which passes it on to the mailbox we read it in. Both are run by providers who may process it outside South Africa. We keep your message because you wrote to us and asked for an answer, and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping a record of what was said.
People named in an answer
The answers are written by AI models and can be wrong. If an answer names or describes a real person or company by mistake, or shows personal information, write to hello@modellineup.com with the page and the wording. We remove it, and we say so on the what’s new page.
Children
ModelLineup is a general reference for adults. It is not directed at children, and it never asks anyone their age, their name or anything else about them. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. In practice the answer is almost always that we hold nothing, because the only personal information that can reach us is an email you chose to send. Write to hello@modellineup.com and we will answer.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom, or to your own national data protection authority in the European Union.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not make changes quietly.
